How to define different types of calendar events

When you create a Calendar Event, the ‘Type’ field is configurable to suit your requirements. For example, a calendar event type could be a client visit, meeting, product demonstration etc. In the Calendar module, you can filter by calendar event type. 

In the Calendar module, click ‘ADD’ to create a Calendar Event and select the green icon to define a calendar event type. 

Click ‘Add New’ to define a new calendar event type. You can also edit, delete, set as inactive or set a calendar event type as default.

Note: You cannot delete a list item in use.

Enter a name for the calendar event type and click ‘Save’.

Once you define a type, use the drop-down to select it and save.
